The Biology of Belief

I read Bruce Lipton’s great book several years ago and it knocked me out back then. Bruce has a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and has done cutting-edge work in understanding how the cell membranes actually function.

The scientific emphasis with regard to cells has always been the DNA and RNA which are nucleic acids found in the nucleus only of all of our cells. But Bruce has found that the nucleus of our cells does not set the agenda for our health or for our bodies. The cell MEMBRANE and the receptors on those cells set the agenda and are completely controlled by our environment, thoughts, and feelings. The cell membrane may transport some DNA at some point but it does not contain it.

I quote Bruce, “The membrane is a liquid crystal” like the face of a watch or your laptop screen. “The membrane is a semiconductor. The membrane contains gates and channels. The membrane is a liquid crystal semiconductor with gates and channels.” It looks like this.

The Cell Membrane

This completely changes the picture for who controls our bodies and what our health care system should be focused on. Materialism should no longer rule the day. The fact is, we do. What we decide to expose ourselves to in our environment, what we decide to think about and what feelings we decide to run.

I encourage you to pick up this book and start on your empowerment journey stat. The body you are walking around in is a phenomenal, energetic, responsive instrument.  There is no limit to healing and ability to change the body when you decide to focus on what you want, how you want to feel, and what you want to do.  I dare you to give it a try.  Just try to be consistent. If you change the message, you’ll be changing the programming.
